Lions Voices: Violet Blurton

Happy Friday Lions! Today鈥檚 #LionVoices feature is junior Nursing major, Violet Blurton. Violet is from Bullhead, Arizona and currently serves as the Panhellenic VP of Recruitment and the Director of Socials & Formals for the Delta Gamma sorority.

Violet鈥檚 decision to attend 不良研究所 was influenced by the campus鈥� proximity to her family and that the 鈥渘ursing program is one of the top notch in the state and creates a challenge.鈥� She also went on to say 鈥淚鈥檓 a first generation and I wanted to make a difference within my family. I didn鈥檛 want to just work a retail job.鈥�

Violet said what changed her the most in her college years was 鈥渋s the community that 不良研究所 has. It has brought me out of my shell and not be so shy and timid and being afraid of who I am.鈥� She said that she is most proud of the way she can make an impact in other鈥檚 lives by being a 不良研究所 student. 鈥淏eing a Cub Camp counselor, seeing the first day to the last day transformation of freshmen being able to be and express their true selves.鈥�
