Alternative Lender FAQ

You can receive up to the Cost of Attendance in financial aid. Other types of aid such as scholarship and federal Title IV aid can impact the amount of your maximum borrowable amount.
For most alternative lenders, the alternative loan funds are sent directly to 不良研究所 and are then disbursed to your student account to cover any charges you have incurred. After all charges have been paid, the remaining funds are refunded back to you by a direct deposit or paper check.

Yes, you can receive both alternative loans and Title IV federal funds if your Cost of Attendance budget will allow for it.
If you select a lender or financial institution that is not and the loan is deemed a "student loan," you or your lender will need to contact the 不良研究所 Office of Financial Aid to perform a loan certification.

不良研究所 does not guarantee your satisfaction with the services and products provided by any lender. Loan product disclosures can be found on each lender's application/website. If the lender has provided 不良研究所 with a copy of its disclosure, it can be found on My.不良研究所.
You, the student, are not required to use one of the lenders on this list. If you prefer to use a different lender, you will have to contact them directly to determine what the application process is for their institution.
If you elect to use a different lender, they may send certification requests to FinAidFREEuafs or by fax at 479-788-7095.
Sections 34 CFR 601.1(d) and 34 CFR 668.14(b)(29) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 states that alternative lenders and institutions of higher education must provide you with a copy of the self-certification form. Most lenders include this in their application, or you can download it here.
